This residential training program is suitable for dogs without serious behaviour issues but who require obedience training and manners.

This program covers all of the basic cues:

  • Sit/Stay

  • Down/Stay

  • Place – Go to bed and relax until told otherwise

  • Heel

  • Come/Recall 

  • We also include crate training, waiting for food, and door manners

Reward Based Training

I  use a positive first approach with my training to build confidence in adult dogs and impressionable puppies. They will learn through a series of fun games and food orientated tasks

On collection day you will be given a full demonstration of your dog’s newly learned training skills.  You will also be provided with a full training E-booklet outlining all the 'Communication Cues' your dog has been taught along with a video of their progress. It is then expected that owners spend some time following this demonstration in order to learn the new communication and tuition procedures we have taught your dog. 

In Depth Follow Up

You will receive a detailed training report plus an in-depth 2 hour hand-over session and follow up training session as part of every package. It is important for you to note that the 2 hour training slot scheduled for you on collection day is essential, during these 2 hours we can show you how we teach the behaviours and you can go away knowing exactly what to do.

During your dog's stay we will do all the hard training work for you, but even when you get your dog back home you still will have to maintain and consistently continue with their learning, otherwise they will revert back to their previous behaviours.

All Board and Train dogs must be picked up & dropped off by the owner.

Residential Training Refund Policy

Once accepted for the Board & Train program, you will receive an invoice from F.E.T.C.H DOG TRAINING for the total Board & Train payment. The full payment is due in order to secure your dog’s reservation.

The total Board & Train fee includes a non-refundable €300. The remainder of the Board & Train fee is 100 percent refundable up until 30 days prior to your dog’s scheduled drop-off date. If you cancel your Board & Train program between 15-30 days prior to the drop-off, 50 percent of the remaining fee becomes refundable. If you cancel within 14 days prior to the scheduled drop-off date, no refunds will be given.
